Step onto the production floor at our Fort Worth, TX site and help bring complex power distribution assemblies to life. You’ll join a skilled crew on the 2nd shift, keeping our build schedule moving and our customers powered.
- Location : Fort Worth, TX
- Shift Hours : 4 : 00 PM – 12 : 30 AM
- Hourly Rate : $17.00 – $21.00 + 5% Shift Difference
A day in this role
Your shift begins by checking the production queue and scanning work orders into our system. You’ll pull parts, read blueprints, bills of material, and one-line diagrams, and then assemble unit and subassembly builds — including Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, and Power Panels — using hand and power tools (wire strippers, pliers, crimpers, and more). Quality is key : you’ll verify tolerances, secure components, label and tag builds, and document any nonconformances. As units are completed, you’ll prep them for shipment with careful packing, sealing, and labeling. Along the way, you’ll support expedited orders and take on additional tasks as directed by supervision.
What you’ll do
Process and scan work orders in / out using computers and scanning devices, following the production schedule and any expedited priorities.Interpret engineering documents : blueprints, bills of material, and one-line diagrams.Collect components and hardware; build unit assemblies and subassemblies for Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, and Power Panels.Use hand and power tools (including wire strippers, pliers, and crimpers) to complete mechanical and wiring tasks.Prepare finished units for shipment : packing, sealing, labeling.Secure and verify assemblies meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.Disassemble to adjust / replace parts, connect cables / basic wiring, and mark / tag units; report nonconforming items.Perform other duties as advised by supervision.What you’ll bring
Basic computer proficiency and comfort with mechanical / measuring tools.Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.Fine and gross motor coordination to grasp / move objects; ability to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb.Capability to reach, grasp, lift up to 75 lbs, and push / pull / slide heavy materials as needed.Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred
High school diploma or equivalent.Assembly and / or wiring experience.Proficiencies
