Position Summary :
The Facilities Technician at Caesars Forum works under the direction of the Assistant Facilities Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the property through timely repairs and efficient responses to guest complaints, minimizing any inconvenience or discomfort for guests. The Technician is responsible for completing maintenance work orders and daily preventive tasks, all while upholding a professional demeanor that enhances guest satisfaction. Strong teamwork and open communication with co-workers and internal guests are essential, alongside maintaining minimal absenteeism and tardiness.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Conduct basic carpentry, flooring repairs, painting, drywall repair, and tile replacement as needed.
- Understanding of facilities trades with ability to troubleshoot, repair or install :
- Plumbing, Electrical or Mechanical systems including chilled water, hot water, steam and HVAC.
- Support mechanical repairs and physical labor as needed.
- Should possess basic blueprint reading skills.
- Participate in preventive maintenance (PM) of building equipment.
- Assist with painting and pressure washing duties.
- Repair door hardware and change light bulbs as assigned.
- Be available on-call for building-related issues as assigned.
- Maintain all assigned equipment (tools, phones, etc.) in good condition.
- Keep shop areas, mechanical, and electrical rooms clean and organized.
- Report maintenance and emergency repairs to the Assistant Facilities Manager immediately.
- Will be required to hit deadlines and complete job tasks as set by facilities leadership without direct monitoring or oversight.
- Complete special assignments as requested.
Qualifications :
Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner.Punctual, detail-oriented, professional, with the ability to multitask and eagerness to assist.Maintain a neat and professional appearance.Flexible schedule availability, working various shifts.Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds.Visual abilities necessary for the safe operation of power and hand tools.Capable of using ladders, lifts, and motorized carts.Attention to detail with strong visual capabilities for quality inspection work.Proficiency in computer use and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Physical, Mental And Environmental Demands :
Ability to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the workday.Capacity to stand and / or walk continuously for the duration of the shift.Ability to climb stairs, balance, bend / stoop, and kneel repetitively.Frequent crouching, pushing / pulling, squatting, and overhead work with both arms.Continuous hand use for grasping.Tolerance for personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety glasses.Capacity to safely operate motorized equipment.Education :
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience :
