Job Title : Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic maintenance group and take charge of repairing and maintaining industrial production machinery. This role involves performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on automated machinery such as nonperforming machines, waterjets, conveyors, and stamping cells.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to machine breakdowns.
• Perform electrical and hydraulic repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the team to balance preventive maintenance across shifts.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing setting that produces carpeted products for the automotive industry. The facility includes 10-12 stamping cells with approximately six presses each, requiring frequent hydraulic and mechanical repairs. Technicians work across three shifts, each shift lasting eight hours, and the company operates six to seven days a week. Once fully staffed and with the new plant operational, weekend work will decrease. Dress code includes jeans or work pants, work shirts provided, steel-toed shoes, and safety glasses.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lapeer, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 / hr.
