About The Position
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Opportunity
Location : Lexington, KY
Start D ate : February 2, 2026
Shift : Day Shift | 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM, includes 30-minute lunch)
Overview
A Level I Trauma Center in Lexington is seeking experienced CRNAs for full-time locum coverage. Providers must be available four weeks per month and flexible with scheduling needs. CRNAs are medically directed and work alongside anesthesia techs and anesthesiologists in a collaborative team environment. Coverage includes a broad range of surgical specialties, excluding OB and cardiac.
Responsibilities
Deliver anesthesia care for orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and neuro cases
Perform intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement
Participate in pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitor patient condition and provide clinical interventions as needed
Required to work in NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia) settings
Requirements
Active Kentucky state license (open to licensing)
Minimum 1 year of experience (no new grads)
EPIC EMR experience preferred

Attending anesthesiologists often paired with residents
Patient population includes all age spans except neonatal
Daily caseload varies (1–9 patients / day)
No OB or cardiac cases

Orientation : 8 hours
Credentialing timeframe : 90–120 days
No overtime unless pre-approved
