Job description

PCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Location : Hermitage, TN

Pay Range : $34.24 - $45.75 / hr (based on experience)

Shift Differentials :

Nights : $3.75 / hr
Weekends : $6.00 / hr

Schedule : Full-Time, Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with rotating weekends (Friday-Sunday, 2 weekends / month)

Sign-On Bonus : $20,000

Relocation Assistance : $5,000 (if over 50 miles from facility)Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated PCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join the Progressive Care Unit at a 234-bed facility recognized for excellence in heart and stroke care. This position offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while leading a multidisciplinary team in a 34-bed unit that specializes in telemetry, COVID, neuro, and pulmonary care.Key Responsibilities

Partner with a multidisciplinary team to deliver customized, patient-centered care.

Assist with admissions, discharges, and coordinating patient care.

Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve team performance and engagement.

Support staff scheduling and ensure efficient operations on the unit.

Monitor and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with leadership.

Unit Details

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

Drips Managed : Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix, Protonix, and others

Patient Conditions : Chest pain, hypertensive urgency, CVA, TIA, sepsis, altered mental status, and more

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN required)

Licensure : Active RN License

Certifications (must be obtained within 30 days of hire) :

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS or CPR)

ACLS

NIHSS Stroke Certification

Experience : Previous Charge Nurse experience required
