ServiceNow Developer

Location

Las Vegas, NV (Onsite – 5 days / week)

Role Type

Contract (5 months, likely extension)

Must Have Skills

5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience (scripting : GlideScript, GlideAjax)
Strong expertise in business rules, Flow Designer, and legacy workflow engine
Proficiency with Service Catalog and ITSM modules (Request, Incident, Change Management)
Strong understanding of ACLs, data policies, and secure application development

Responsibilities and Job Details

Refactor and optimize legacy ServiceNow business rules, workflows, and custom applications

Remediate corrupted or inconsistent data using scripting, transforms, and best practices

Develop and maintain scoped applications and integrations with external systems (REST, SOAP, MID Server)

Design and implement RPA-based automation for access provisioning in non-SCIM compliant systems

Collaborate with security, compliance, and IT operations teams to ensure robust access control and auditability

Enhance user experiences through Service Catalog and Portal customizations

Document solutions and maintain adherence to SDLC best practices

Participate in Change Advisory Boards (CAB) for deployment approvals

Ensure compliance with enterprise standards for secure development and data handling

Support data transformation efforts and large-scale data remediation projects

Provide technical guidance on ACL design and performance tuning

Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions based on business needs
