Fraser Health Authority is seeking to add a consulting Dermatologist to the current Dermatologists group to provide specialist general Dermatology care to the communities of White Rock & Delta.

The Dermatologist will provide mostly outpatient and private community services and will also be expected to provide consulting services to inpatients at the community hospitals. They will also be expected to obtain a Clinical Faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia and provide supervision, mentorship and teaching to medical trainees.

Facilities : Peace Arch Hospital and Delta Hospital.

Peace Arch Hospital is a 188‑bed hospital in White Rock, BC, offering medical, surgical, acute geriatric, obstetrics, palliative, psychiatric and telemetry services as well as 24 / 7 emergency services and after‑hours emergency surgery, with over 53,000 visits annually. The hospital has completed an Emergency Department expansion and upgrades project, which includes five upgraded perioperative suites (operating rooms) and a new Medical Device Reprocessing department.

Delta Hospital is a 58‑bed community hospital offering medical, surgical daycare, outpatient chronic disease management clinics, extended care unit, palliative care and 24 / 7 emergency services, with over 34,000 visits annually.

Qualifications

• Full FRCPC certification and eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
