We are looking for a Commercial Underwriter I-III to join our team. In this role, the Commercial Underwriter provides analysis of commercial and personal credit information from borrowers and guarantors to assess risk involved with lending to new and existing small business, commercial real estate, and construction clients. The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability collaborate effectively while maintaining professionalism, integrity and a commitment teamwork. This is an on-site, full-time position.
The Commercial Underwriter is responsible for a variety of functions which include, but are not limited to the following :
o Perform all aspects of General Contractor analysis and qualification.
o Create and maintain budget spreadsheets.
o Coordinate draw funding with Loan Ops staff.
o Works closely with managing underwriter on highly complex issues.
o Works independently with little or no oversight on low to moderate complex duties.
Minimum requirements : Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or equivalent with a minimum of two years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pay Range : $80,000 - $120,000
