Job description1 or more years of medical office experience. Excellent computer skills. High School Diploma or equivalent. Have a driver's license. Ability to obtain immunization records. Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks and drug testing.
Job Description
Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Medical Staff Assistant t o join our team in the Hospital and Healthcare industry. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting patients and answering a multi-line phone system, scanning, as well as clerical duties. This position will be Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. This is a temp-to-perm position for the ideal candidate. The pay will be $12 per hour.
The responsibilities of the Medical Staff Assistant are :
- In charge of answering multi-line phone system and directing calls to the appropriate party.
- Provides outstanding service to patients, physicians, fellow employees, and guests.
- Completes QCL's in a timely manner and scans documents into the EMR in the correct location.
- Clerical skills utilizing the computer and EMR systems.
- Uses EMR to assist patients with appointments and other general information.
