A Material Handler performs various receiving, stocking, picking and checking duties including maintenance of accurate inventory, following established safety rules, policies and procedures.

Major Responsibilities :

• Unload truck deliveries manually and with fork lift. Scan or manually receive goods into computer system, stock all materials and / or goods in appropriate areas, aisles and bays for future picking.
• Receive allocation / Kanban orders, pick all materials needed to fill orders.
• Move all allocated materials from the stock aisles to the truck for shipping or staging allocation in dedicated bays until requested by kitting.
• Use of electric pallet jacks, forklifts or hand jacks to prevent damage of materials when unloading and loading trucks
• Maintain and operate forklift / Electric jacks. Ensuring they are in good mechanical condition; check fluid levels regularly, complete daily checklist to ensure jacks are in proper working condition before use.
