Job Summary :

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced product director / manager or GPU System Architect. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GPU System Architecture with strong know-how of GPU System Firmware and AI workloads. You will collaborate across silicon, system, software engineering teams, validation, thermal teams to launch hardware platforms that deliver optimal performance, power efficiency and cost for large-scale deployment.

This role will be based in our headquarters located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage complex GPU computing solutions based on Supermicro server hardware to deliver leading edge systems to the market
• Understand customer requirements, and work with internal engineering teams to define and provide a solution that meets all expectations and on schedule. Working effectively with various internal cross functional teams is fundamental to this role
• Interface with silicon, mechanical, firmware, software and rack teams to deliver custom solutions for key large customers
• Translate workload requirements into optimized hardware system designs, with focus on PCIe, NVLink, power delivery, thermals and custom firmware
• Work closely with liquid cooling experts to ensure customer has a complete solution at the rack and cluster level

Qualifications :

Salary Range

$219,000 - $249,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
