Job description

Check Operations Processor

Working under the general supervision, the incumbent will perform assigned processing duties as they relate to Check Operations. Tasks include pay or reject decisions on checks hitting the exception queue, escalating issues as needed or required to clients for input. The individual will work closely with Check Recon teams and assist with report download and recon creation as well as learn the research process behind check and account reconcilement.

What You Will Be Responsible For :

  • Research, reconciliation, and resolution of General Ledger balances
  • Assist in daily check operations processes and meet established deadlines
  • Work with both internal and external clients to confirm and apply check decisions
  • Update and follow standard operating procedures
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and system upgrades
  • Research and respond to client inquiries timely and accurately
