Unit Summary :

We are excited to announce that our ICU is expanding! Last year, we broke ground on a project that will increase our ICU capacity by 75%, adding six new beds to our existing eight. This expansion also includes an advanced care unit and space for a new surgical suite, allowing us to meet the growing needs of our community.

Position Summary :

As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will :

Implement care plans, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.

Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.

Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Evaluate and address the learning needs of patients and families, providing tailored education.

Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of each patient.

Minimum Qualifications :

Associate's Degree in Nursing (required)

KY RN state licensure or compact licensure (required)

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 10 days of hire

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 45 days of hire

Handle With Care training within 30 days of hire
