Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in the lives of students with special needs? Join our established, supportive team at a private, New York State Approved Special Education School serving students aged 5 to 21 .
What You Will Do
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, focusing on individualized goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs ( IEPs ).
- Deliver all services in 30-minute, one-on-one sessions within our dedicated, well-equipped Speech Center .
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including classroom teachers, support staff, and a dedicated administrative team.
- Work in partnership with parents / guardians to ensure consistency and carryover of therapeutic strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in all required IEP meetings and professional development.
