Title : SVTC Technician IV (Swing / Mid-shift)

Location : Washington, DC

Clearance : TS / SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Job Details :

• Manage VTC scheduling and provide live event support
• Maintain IT and AV equipment related to information displays, digital signage, monitors, laptops, video record devices and other related end user devices
• Operate and manage equipment for presentations, sound, lighting and audio / video conferencing
• Create and manage user accounts
• Develop SOP's for utilization of conference center equipment
• Escalate IT issues to Tier III when needed
• Provide workstation (thick and thin client), VoIP device, and voice and video conference support
• Manage hardware in all stages including unpacking and setup of end user devices
• Resolve IT incidents from cradle to grave, working closely with engineering teams and other contractor stakeholders when IT issues require Tier III escalation or have external dependencies
• Install application software on end-user device workstations via scripted install packages
• Inventory management of UC deployed software and end user devices
• Provide user education and training in basic hardware and software functions
• Create and maintain documentation and SOPs to train new employees
• Use ServiceNow-based ticketing database to track, update, and close break / fix incident tickets and fulfill new requests
• Identify and execute process improvements and other enhancements that improve operational efficiency
• This position is a Network Operations Center (NOC) position and may require shift and weekend work
