Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Monroe, Georgia (Zip : 30655) – Georgia nursing jobs

Assignment Length : 12-week travel RN contract

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36

Setting : LDRP Unit – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Weekend Coverage : Every third weekend

Call : Once a week as needed

Floating : Within facility / scope of practice as needed

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1710-$1750

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (first-time travel nurses welcome)

Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of submission

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate & Advanced

Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system

Community hospital and Trauma Level I / II experience preferred

Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred

Ability to work major holidays as per assignment policy

Compliance with healthcare facility onboarding and orientation requirements

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care for laboring patients from 35 weeks gestation through postpartum and newborn care

Perform newborn assessments and provide postpartum education to parents

Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections

Support breastfeeding and provide lactation education

Implement baby-friendly protocols and car seat safety education

Monitor and manage IVs, infusion pumps, and medication drips

Deliver high-risk antepartum care and manage postpartum hemorrhage

Float to other nursing units within scope of practice as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services
