All-in-one unit covering Labor & Delivery, Mother / Baby, and OB

RN-to-patient ratios :

L&D : 1 : 1–2

Mother / Baby : Couplets 1 : 3

Float expectation : May be floated as “helping hands” during low census

Required Certifications :

NYS RN License

BLS

ACLS

NRP

AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

NIHSS (must be obtained prior to submission )

6 CEUs in Stroke-related topics required prior to start

Position Overview :

A community hospital in Auburn, NY is seeking a versatile L&D RN capable of covering Labor & Delivery, OB, and Mother / Baby in an integrated unit. This role requires strong fetal monitoring competency, emergency readiness, and the ability to float if necessary. On-call is required, including when shifts are canceled. The hospital uses Paragon charting and provides 24 guaranteed hours per week.
