Staff Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team in the consumer technology industry. This role focuses on the development of pioneering sleep fitness products that integrate cutting-edge materials and sensor technologies to promote user health and recovery. The position involves managing the entire hardware development lifecycle, from initial prototyping to large-scale manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of innovative consumer products focused on sleep and fitness.
- Manage end-to-end hardware development processes, ensuring integration of advanced materials and sensors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications are met.
- Utilize CAD software (Solidworks, NX, or Creo) to create detailed product designs.
- Apply expertise in injection molding, sheet metal, and soft goods to optimize design for manufacturability.
- Drive projects from concept through to high-volume production.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 8 years' experience in consumer product development.Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, NX, or Creo.Strong knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal, and soft goods.Proven track record of managing projects in fast-paced environments.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of projects.Why Join Us
