Description :

The Collections / Invoicing Specialist (ROC Specialist) will provide services to include invoicing and collection of individual and corporate membership dues and collection of program fees and other revenue for assigned centers within the YMCA of South Hampton Roads.

Requirements :

• Experience in account collections and customer service preferred.
• Experience in invoicing (accounts receivable) and account reconciliation.
• Ability to identify, research and resolve account discrepancies.
• Proficient and accurate data processing skills.
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy, organization and focus on meeting goals and deadlines.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Excel and Word as well as Google Sheets and Google Docs.
• Ability to quickly learn new software programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with members, corporate membership representatives and YMCA staff at all levels in a positive and professional manner.
• Strong interpersonal and relational skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Ability to process a large volume of work.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Dependable, reliable and able to work the hours needed in order to support the internal and external customers. This may include occasional evening and weekend hours.
