General Surgery opening in Muscatine, IA

• 1 hour from Cedar Rapids and 30 minutes from Quad Cities Job Description :
• Clinic Hours : Mon-Fri 8a-5p
• Call Schedule : every other weekend, rotating weekdays and Holidays
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Established team of (1) General Surgeon, (1) General Surgeon Partner, (1) PA, (3) RN's, (1) MA and (2) Front Desk
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Qualifications :
• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
