Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : CVOR

  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Travel

Shift : Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Schedule : 5–6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; holidays on department rotation

Floating : Department rotation

🧠 Requirements

  • Education : ASN required; BSN preferred
  • Licensure : Illinois RN License in good standing
  • Certifications : BLS & ACLS (AHA) required
  • Experience : Minimum 3 years relevant nursing experience

    • 📋 Position Summary

  • Provides direct care to CVMS patients (post-op day 1 CABG, thoracotomy, vascular surgery)
  • Performs assessments, develops & implements individualized plan of care, modifies plan as needed
  • Ensures patient and staff safety; identifies hazards & incidents
  • Documents nursing care accurately for interdisciplinary team use
  • Participates in hourly rounding, maintains clean work environment, and supports internal / external customers
  • Offers constructive feedback and pursues professional development
