Mission Focus

Mission Focus : Lead a team of cross-functional IT engineers to provide a full range of expertise and experience required to continually monitor the IT market space and analyze evolving DTRA mission requirements to identify and recommend IT solutions to challenges associated with day-to-day service delivery and mission performance. The team analyzes new requirements, assesses the feasibility and business rationale for new projects, and then prototypes and tests new IT services before release for production.

Clearance : TS / SCI clearance required

Location / Flexibility : Ft. Belvoir, VA

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a team of 10 system, network, data, software engineers responsible for assessing, prioritizing, and building prototypes for IT upgrades within an IT network of over 6,000 users
• Manage multiple, concurrent system engineering design and testing projects
• Continually monitor the state of DoD IT industry best practices to keep DTRA at the leading edge of technology
• Serve as a subject matter expert resource for daily operations technical escalations
