About The Position
Job Title : Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
License : Valid nursing license required
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Must-Have :
Proficiency with EPIC
IV Start
Telemetry
Ventilator management experience
Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
Description :
Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend night shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise.
Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, and Cardiology / Diagnostics.
Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management.
Additional required skills include arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure.
Nurses will be responsible for administering emergency medications and blood products, interpreting arterial blood gases, and managing dysrhythmias.
The position requires the ability to perform essential nursing tasks in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Candidates must be comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams and managing a diverse patient population in critical settings.
