It is home to a busy robotic surgery program and provides advanced cardiac care. The unit has 30 beds and employs over 40 staff members. On day shifts, staffing includes a charge nurse, 4-5 RNs / LPNs, and 2-3 nursing assistants. Night shift staffing consists of a charge nurse, 4-5 RNs / LPNs, and 2-3 nursing assistants. Patient ratios are 2-4 : 1 in SD / ICU and 5-6 : 1 in Med-Surg. The facility is equipped with IV pumps, SCDs, and glucometers among other essential tools. It utilizes a team-based care model where healthcare professionals collaborate daily for optimal patient outcomes. Candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. This role involves providing care for all levels from med / surg to ICU. Preferred candidates will have ICU or stepdown experience, with a preference for individuals with med / surg backgrounds.
