• Position Description The EMT at Honor Community Health (HCH) is essential to our high-performing healthcare team.
• This non-exempt position reports to the Lead Medical Assistant, Practice Manager, or Director of Health Center Operations depending on the position location.
• The EMT provides direct and indirect patient care while assisting clinicians in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered medical care.
• The EMT is also responsible for completing general office duties and patient records and monitoring various clinical processes.   What are we looking for?
• High school diploma or equivalent Experience working in a healthcare environment Experience cleaning office space Must have excellent communication skills Knowledge of general principles of medicine as can be derived from an EMT or paramedic training program.
• Postsecondary certificate (EMTs); Associate’s degree (Paramedics).
• Certification and state license required.
• BLS Certified through American Heart Association. 6 + months in a similar clinical position is required.
• Strong computer skills utilizing Electronic health record (NextGen preferred) Microsoft Office  A flexible and positive attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment  Ability to create an excellent patient experience Patient focused mindset What do we offer?
