In this critical role, you will operate under the guidance of the EP Lab Supervisor and the CV Services Director, working closely with physicians and nursing staff to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic invasive electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac device implantation.
What Will You Do?
Utilize your knowledge of radiographic imaging, 3D cardiac mapping, patient physiological monitoring, cardiac arrhythmia recognition, and pacing during EP ablation procedures.Adhere strictly to sterile techniques and safety protocols.Gather and organize data for outcome analysis and performance improvement.Support the department's operations by undertaking additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.Qualifications :
Graduation from a Cardiovascular Technology or Radiographic Technology program, or an equivalent combination of education and 2 years of clinical experience.BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required upon hire.ACLS certification should be obtained within 6 months of your start date.RCES certification is preferred.A minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular setting, demonstrating competency in arrhythmia and 12-lead ECG interpretation, or equivalent clinical experience gained during education.Research Medical Center operates as a 585+ bed facility, offering diverse medical services, including women’s health, emergency care, and trauma services.
