Additional Job Description :

West Virginia University Health System (SMG) seeks a part-time Hospitalist Physician to practice at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.

Responsibilities : Practice in Internal Medicine, provide excellent patient care, and actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications : MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, state medical license, DEA registration by start date, completion of Internal Medicine residency, and board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Grant Memorial Hospital, founded in 1958, is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving a multi-county area with services including a 24 / 7 Emergency Department, Surgical Care Clinic, Orthopedic Clinic, Cancer Center, Primary Care Clinic, and the region's only Birthing Center. Petersburg is a scenic community in the Potomac Highlands, known for trout fishing and hiking.
