At IHC, a Federally Qualified Health Center, we specialize in integrated care which means having access to essential services to meet the needs of patients we serve in the community. With ten healthcare centers, eight Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition program locations, and a Mobile Health Unit, we offer primary medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services to community-based patient populations throughout Indiana that are diverse in age, educational background, and income level.
The Corporate Clinical Educator works with the Education team to develop and implement processes for minimizing risks including educating staff. This position is located either at the central office in Indianapolis or at an IHC medical site.

Clinical Educator Job Summary
The Corporate Clinical Educator plays a vital role in supporting IHC’s mission by enhancing staff education, minimizing clinical risks, and promoting quality care. This position collaborates with the Corporate Education Manager and the broader education team to develop and implement orientation, training, and competency programs across IHC sites.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and improve orientation processes using evidence-based practicesCoordinate and deliver continuing education and in-service trainingManage and document staff competency assessmentsLead infection control and prevention effortsStandardize workflows while customizing for site-specific needsMaintain positive relationships with staff and providers across locationsEnsure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standardsParticipate in process improvement and quality initiativesRequired Skills & Attributes
Strong verbal and written communicationAnalytical problem-solving and decision-makingDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesKnowledge of public health nursing practicesCommitment to continuous improvement and staff developmentProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and EHR systems (e.g., eCW)Work Environment & Physical Demands
Moderate lifting (30–50 pounds), walking, and standingTravel required to IHC sites for training and supportUse of standard office equipment and protective gear as neededRequirements :
