Role Overview :

As a Production Engineer I / II, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and stability of CoreWeave's cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with the Production Engineer Team Lead and other engineers to support incident response, platform reliability, and operational improvements. This position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their technical skills, contribute to a high-performing team, and make an impact on the operational excellence of CoreWeave's cloud services.

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for monitoring the health of our infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and participating in both day-to-day operational tasks and incident resolution efforts. As you gain experience, you will be guided to take on more complex responsibilities in incident management, process improvement, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

Incident Management & Support :

• Assist in incident response efforts by helping identify and resolve service disruptions quickly, working under the guidance of more senior engineers.
• Help document incidents, assist with root cause analysis (RCA), and support post-incident reviews (PIRs) to identify lessons learned.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of incident response playbooks to ensure preparedness for various failure scenarios.
• Participate in communication efforts during incidents, updating stakeholders and keeping clear records of incident activities.

The base salary range for this role is $139,000 to $204,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
