Controls Engineer

Location : Onsite in Lodi, WI

Travel : Up to 15% for installations

Salary : $80-130k DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation systems that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with various control systems, ensuring high-quality solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement control systems for automation processes
Develop and test PLC and HMI programs
Conduct system integration and troubleshooting of automation solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
Provide technical support for existing control systems and equipment
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
Document system designs and update project specifications

Qualifications

1+ years of experience working with controls and automation systems

Strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming (Rockwell, Allen Bradley or Siemens)

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Technical training, Associates, or Bachelors degree in Engineering is nice to have but not required
