About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at our modern behavioral health hospital in historic Georgetown, DE. This is a 100% on-site opportunity with no weekends and no call responsibilities, offering a healthy work-life balance for providers committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Overview : Team Structure

Total Beds : 99

Psychiatrists on staff : 2

Advanced Practice Providers : 3

Psychologists : 0

You’ll manage an average daily caseload of 18 patients and work alongside an experienced and collaborative care team.

Patient Population

Providers will treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders including :

Anxiety and Affective Disorders

ADD / ADHD

Eating Disorders

Personality Disorders

Developmental Disorders

Psychotic Disorders

Technology & Tools

EMR : WellSky

Providers must have experience with pharmacotherapy and involuntary commitments

Job Requirements

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 0–5 years of psychiatry residency) – Required

Delaware medical license – or willingness to obtain – Required

DEA license – must be obtained prior to start – Required

CSR / CDS license – must be obtained prior to start – Required

BLS certification – or willingness to obtain – Required

Permanent position only – not accepting locum tenens or telehealth candidates
