Job descriptionJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Current license to practice law in the state. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in general liability litigation. Proven experience representing clients in court and before government agencies. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements. Strong legal research and analytical abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and supervise junior staff. Overview
Associate Attorney Liability Defense Litigation Associate, Hybrid, Excellent Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general liability defense litigation and at least five years of experience. This position is on-site.
Salary : $130,000 - $170,000 per year. This Jobot posting is hosted by Patrick Murphy.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence in commercial litigation.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as briefs, motions, pleadings, and discovery materials.
- Conduct legal research and analyze facts to develop case strategies.
- Provide client advice regarding rights and obligations under the law.
- Negotiate settlements in a manner that protects the client's interests.
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting clients.
- Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.
