ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Albany, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event. Working collaboratively with our Dining Room Coordinator and other Dining Room Servers, you will provide hands-on table service and assist with special event meal service in our Assisted Living community. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal
