Description :

This position requires the ability to perform MRI scans, including brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate, and musculoskeletal imaging.

Technologists will be responsible for evaluating patients with implanted devices and researching safety protocols prior to imaging.

The imaging department is equipped with both GE and Philips MRI scanners.

The average number of scans performed per day is approximately 28.

EPIC and Sectra PACS are utilized for electronic medical record documentation.

Radiology aides assist MRI technologists in providing care.

There will be participation in holiday and standby rotations.

Personal scrubs are required as hospital scrubs are not provided.

All candidates are expected to have excellent communication and patient care skills.

Participation in departmental orientation will be provided to ensure understanding of protocols and equipment.

This role does not require weekend work, but volunteers may be needed for weekend shifts.

Technologists must ensure compliance with safety standards, including N95 fit testing.

All qualifications must be met to maintain licensure and uphold departmental standards.
