Role Overview :
Pop Mart is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Real Estate Paralegal to support general corporate and real estate needs across its North American operations, including both the United States and Canada. This role is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining essential business documentation—such as business licenses, seller permits, and corporate registrations, across applicable federal, state, and county jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will ensure all required operating licenses and insurance coverages are properly obtained and renewed in compliance with local regulations and lease requirements for physical retail stores.
What You Will Achieve :
- Research and maintain all required registration, business licenses, seller’s permits, and operating permits at the federal, state, and county levels across the U.S. and Canada for offline stores and vending machine shops (“Roboshops”) and centralized database for recordkeeping.
- Monitor license and permit expiration dates and ensure timely renewals to avoid business interruption.
- Coordinate with internal departments (store operations, leasing, real estate, legal, and finance) to confirm licensing and registration needs for store, storage, and Roboshop openings.
- Maintain accurate records and management of business entity registrations, corporate filings, liaise with corporate service providers as needed, and maintain benchmark insurance standards for lease negotiations (e.g., CGL, property, umbrella, workers' comp, etc.).
- Provide additional administrative and compliance documentation support for the legal team as needed, particularly in relation to operations and regulatory matters.
- Assist attorneys in research and general corporate matters as needed.
What You Will Need :
