As a Security Officer - Distribution Access Control Patrol in Elmsford, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment for people and property. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting patrols and responding to situations throughout the site. You will also deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and embody Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Monitor and control access points to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and / or delivery personnel with inquiries and directions as needed.Carry out security-related procedures and protocols specific to logistics and distribution environments.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify any unusual activity.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.Collaborate with site management and other Allied Universal personnel to support a secure and orderly environment at the location.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.Experience in loss prevention is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
