We are looking for qualified candidates for the role of Ultrasound Technologist at various experience levels (I, II, III). Your placement will depend on your qualifications and experience. All positions support patient care under the guidance of licensed professionals, with increased responsibilities at higher levels.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Ultrasound Technologist I :
  • Following the orders of qualified providers, utilize high-frequency sound wave equipment for diagnostic imaging in line with KSC Radiology Department policies and procedures.
  • Be prepared to perform varied imaging services such as sonohysterography and / or vascular ultrasound based on the assigned location.
  • Employ the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) and Patient Archiving System (PACS) for necessary clerical tasks.
  • Other technical or non-technical duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by supervision.
  • Ultrasound Technologist II :
  • Includes all duties of Ultrasound Technologist I.
  • Requires additional experience and / or certification.
  • Ultrasound Technologist III :
  • Includes all duties of Ultrasound Technologist I and II.
  • Requires additional experience and / or certification.

Required Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Education sufficient to meet applicant status with the ARDMS or ARRT (S).
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Possession of RDMS or RT(R) (S), or be a current applicant to achieve one of these certifications within 1 year of hire. Failure to achieve will result in job termination in this capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a computer keyboard and manage digital image acquisition.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • For Ultrasound Technologist II :
  • Healthcare-related degree.
  • RT(R), RDMS (Ab) (OB) (BR).
  • RDMS with at least 2 specialty registries related to our practice OR RT(R) (S) with a minimum of 2 specialty registries.
  • 1+ years of ultrasound experience (including formal ultrasound training with at least 1-year clinical instruction).
  • PACS and RIS experience.
  • For Ultrasound Technologist III :
  • Healthcare-related degree.
  • RT (R), RDMS (Ab)(OB)(BR) RVT and / or RVS.
  • RDMS with a minimum of 2 specialty ultrasound registries plus RVT or RVS OR RT(R) (S) with RVT or RVS.
  • 3+ years of ultrasound experience. PACS and RIS experience is required.
  • Compensation is based on various factors such as local labor markets, qualifications, work experience, and certifications. Beyond salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive programs, equity stock purchase options, and a 401k contribution (subject to eligibility). The hourly pay range for this role is $28.27 to $50.48 for full-time positions.
