Equity Staffing Group is currently staffing a Community Outreach Rep in Mount Kisco, NY.

Community Outreach Rep

Location :

Mount Kisco, NY 10549

Duration :

4 Month contract to start, potential for extension and / or conversion to FTE

Rate : $26.00 / Hr

Start Date : ASAP

Responsibilities :

Contact Center Outbound Scheduler.

Position background : Schedule patients for pending exams.

Please describe the team the candidate will be working with : Contact center Radiology.

2 outbound callers. Within the contact center there are also schedulers who

answer all incoming calls.

Responsibilities :

Maintain an average of 60+ outbound calls daily, Monitor and maintain the continuity of care through scheduling and tracking systems in all work queues, Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information, Scheduling radiology appointments and procedures in an organized and efficient manner, Comfortable working in high pace environment, Provide effective communication to patient to ensure understanding, Comply with administrative policies to ensure quality of care, All employees are expected to keep abreast on current medical requirements relevant to their position, which includes maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirements,

Attend all required Optum and departmental trainings

What does the ideal candidate background look like :

Healthcare specific background, previous outbound calling experience.

Preferred :

Previous outbound calling, prior experience utilizing the Epic systems.

Does this position require a professional license or certification :

What is the dress code : Business casual.

Hours :

Work hours : Monday-Friday 9-6pm

Min Education :

High School Diploma OR GED
