Job Details

  • Entry-level position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology services to adult and / or pediatric patients.
  • Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care under routine or emergent conditions in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic / urgent care centers, and remote statewide outreach clinics.
  • Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders.
  • Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals.
  • Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and / or surgical procedures according to scope of practice guidelines.
  • Conducts post-procedure reviews to ensure completion, documentation, and technical quality per department protocols and accreditation standards.
  • Transfers images and data to archival systems, enters technical data / findings, and prepares studies for physician reporting.
  • Performs operator-level quality control, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer instructions and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and improve care and treatments.
