General Advertising Sales Manager

The Beverly Press / Park Labrea News is looking for an experienced print and digital salesperson / manager for an established 80-year-old Los Angeles weekly newspaper and online product with over 800,000 users. Candidate will maintain existing accounts - of which we have a very solid ad base -  and develop print and online new business. In addition, candidate will sell the annual magazine, "Our People Our Places" which publishes in September and is approximately 100-120 pages. Cold calling, follow up, maintain CRM, attend chamber of commerce meetings and other networking events is required. Knowledge of MAC computers, Microsoft Word, Outlook (email) is requitred. Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
