Responsibilities Position is in a hospital Stepdown (IMU / PCU) unit Care for intermediate and progressive care patients Must be comfortable with higher patient ratios Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 19 : 00 Floating may occur between like units and campuses within 20 miles, but is rare Cerner EMR is used, with experience preferred Deliver specialized nursing care to acutely ill patients in a high-acuity stepdown setting Must be willing to work required holiday coverage if assignment overlaps Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Applicants with previous employment at this health system must be separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler No first-time travelers will be considered for this assignment All time-off requests must be submitted with initial application; no additional RTO will be approved after offer Requirements Active TN or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration At least 2 years of recent PCU / IMU experience with previous travel experience, or 3 years PCU / IMU experience without travel Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required ADN required; BSN not required for this position Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility Copy of driver’s license required for consideration Current BLS certification and up-to-date vaccination status required Cerner EMR experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626533.
