Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT, BLS, and Illinois state license for a night position in a Level I Trauma Magnet hospital.
Responsibilities
Work in an acute care setting, including adult acute care, adult outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, and OR environmentsLevel I trauma center and Magnet-recognized hospital with 562 bedsNight shift position : 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 30), including every other weekend and holidays as neededOn-call required as needed throughout the assignmentPerform a wide range of X-ray procedures for abdomen, chest / thorax, head, lower and upper extremities, spine, pelvis, mobile and surgical imagingRequired experience with O-ARM and portable X-ray equipmentCharting on Cerner EMR; prior experience preferredMust be willing to take on-call duties and work both weekends and holidays as assignedFirst-time travelers are accepted for this assignmentMust adhere to magnet hospital and Level I trauma center standardsAny solid color scrubs are accepted as dress codeParking requires a permit, provided at no cost during orientationFive days of non-holiday time off may be approved; more than five days requires prior facility approvalCandidates must be able to complete all onboarding requirements within one week of signing the contractApplicants who have been perm or PRN employees at this system must have a 12-month break before returning as travelersBackground check and specific onboarding documentation required prior to considerationNo floating required outside primary scopeRequirements
