IU Health Physicians is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our dynamic team at a bustling level 1 academic trauma center. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in orthopedic trauma care and a passion for teaching and research within an academic setting. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases in a high-energy environment while contributing to the education of orthopedic residents and fellows.
Position Details :
- Level 1 trauma center- call coverage shared among group
- Monday- Friday, 1 day clinic weekly, 1 block day, weekend call variable
- IU Health Methodist Hospital
- ~20% Outpatient / 80% inpatient
- Responsibilities include :
Adult patient population- serving level 1 trauma center downtown Indianapolis
Proficiency in managing and surgically treating pelvis and acetabular fractures as well as expertise in repairing articular fractures and long bone injuriesQualifications :
DO or MDFellowship trained in Orthopaedic TraumaABOS BE / BC in the United StatesAbility to acquire Indiana medical licenseGraduating fellows and experienced BC physicians encouraged to applyCompensation :
