We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Deficiency Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing fire sprinkler inspection reports, identifying code violations or system deficiencies, and quickly preparing proposals for our customers. Speed and accuracy are key — our goal is to turn around proposals within 3 days of inspection, with a target of 40+ proposals per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Review inspection reports and deficiency notes from field technicians
  • Scope and quote repairs or upgrades for fire sprinkler systems
  • Communicate clearly with customers on required work, urgency, and code compliance
  • Prepare and submit at least 40 detailed proposals weekly
  • Collaborate closely with inspection coordinators, field supervisors, and technicians
  • Track open quotes and follow up with customers to close sales
  • Stay current on relevant NFPA codes and local fire department requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM or ACT system
  • Required Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in fire protection, construction, or related industry
  • Familiarity with fire sprinkler systems and NFPA codes is strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize workload effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quoting software (experience with ACT a plus)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (college degree a plus)
  • Compensation : $24-$33 / hour based on experience

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand for 8 hours, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
