As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrols in Melville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with team members and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $17.58 / Hour

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 03 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 03 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 03 : 00 AM

Thur 10 : 00 PM - 03 : 00 AM

Sun 10 : 00 PM - 03 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a security-related presence.
  • Monitor for potential hazards or suspicious behavior and report findings according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Communicate with management, staff, and visitors to provide assistance and relay important security-related information as needed.
  • Complete security-related logs, reports, and documentation as required by site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
