\n\nKey Job Details – ICU RN Travel Assignment\n \n

  • Location : Klamath Falls, OR 97601 – Experience Oregon nursing jobs near Crater Lake National Park, with access to outdoor recreation, lakes, trails, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere.\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n
  • Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU); may float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and care for Med / Surg overflow patients\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (variable scheduling; every other weekend and holidays required)\n
  • Hours : 36 hours per week (72 hours per two weeks guaranteed)\n
  • Contract Length : 13-week contract (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026)\n
  • Charting System : Epic EMR\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2050 - $2200 per week\n
  • \n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (Oregon or compact state)\n
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required (2.5-3 years preferred)\n
  • Proficient in ventilator and pressor management\n
  • Experience with Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) preferred\n
  • Skilled in titrating critical care drips (Precedex, insulin, epinephrine, norepinephrine, propofol)\n
  • Ability to float to PCU and care for Med / Surg overflow patients\n
  • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU\n
  • Manage ventilators, pressors, and titratable drips\n
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms (support from monitor techs)\n
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals\n
  • Float to PCU and care for Med / Surg overflow patients as needed\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR\n
  • Comply with hospital policies and uphold professional standards\n
