The Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Marketing Coordinator with a strong focus on digital graphic design to join our crew. This role is perfect for a creative storyteller who lives and breathes digital culture and isn't afraid of bold color and edgy expression. You will be the creative engine behind our visual presence, responsible for designing everything from head-turning social media content to stunning product photography. You'll work directly with the Marketing Director to ensure the Manic Panic brand looks and feels as iconic online and in print as it does in real life.
What You'll Do
- Graphic Design & Content Creation : Design and produce eye-catching, on-brand creative for all our digital channels, including our websites (banners, product pages), email campaigns, videos, and all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
- Social Media Collateral : Create a high volume of assets tailored for social media, including static, video, and GIF posts, Instagram Stories, Reel covers, YouTube videos, animated graphics, and more.
- Digital & Print Design : Develop compelling visuals for both digital advertising and print needs, such as event flyers, in-store displays, and marketing one-sheets.
- Product Photography : Take charge of in-house digital photography, including shooting and editing high-quality product shots for our e-commerce site and marketing materials.
- Website Maintenance : Assist in keeping our website visually fresh by updating graphics and ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Marketing Support : Collaborate with the marketing team on various initiatives, brainstorming creative campaigns, and providing design support as needed.
- Brand Consistency : Act as a brand steward, ensuring all visuals are aligned with Manic Panic’s edgy, vibrant, and rebellious aesthetic, and weave a coherent visual presence and story across multiple channels and consumer touchpoints
Who You Are
A Creative Visionary : You have a passion for design, self-expression, a strong "digital eye" for what's trending, and the ability to translate marketing objectives into compelling visual content.Technically Skilled : Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite is a must, with a heavy emphasis on Photoshop. Experience with Illustrator and InDesign is also required.A Hands-On Photographer : You have demonstrable experience with digital photography, particularly product shots, including lighting, shooting, and retouching.Experienced & Agile : You have 0-2 years of relevant experience in a graphic design or marketing role. Experience in a fast-paced agency environment is highly preferred.Organized, Proactive, and productive : You can manage multiple projects at once, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic, creative environment. You understand that the delivery of your creative on time allows others to carry the work forwardDigital and social native : You understand the nuances between a Feed and Stories, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok, display and email imagery, and lean into creating a visual story that spans across the different channelsUntamed authenticity : You have probably dyed your hair a vivid color once or twenty times, and have made a self-published zine or two in your past. You look at fashion trends, and are able to mold them to who you are. We don’t just SELL it, we LIVE it!A strong POV, and the ability to work collaboratively. Communication is key. Being able to express your ideas, but also be open to those of others is what allows us to work at the speed of real time.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.A strong portfolio showcasing your graphic design, digital content, and photography skills is required for consideration.
