Staff Accountant

At Pluck'd , we're building a massive, state-of-the-art, 65-acre greenhouse in Carroll County, Virginia - a facility designed to revolutionize how fresh produce is grown and delivered. While our first tomatoes won't roll off the vine until 2026, we need a Staff Accountant to join our team now to ensure our financial foundation is strong and scalable.

This role is primarily hands-on and day-to-day focused, managing core accounting functions such as AP / AR, reconciliations, and payroll processing. As Pluck'd grows, you'll also play a part in developing streamlined processes and implementing systems that support our future operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Accounting & Financial Operations :

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial reports to support leadership and operational decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
