In this role as a team leader, you will lead by example, oversee staff, and be able to step in when needed. There is also a component of covering weekends and holidays in this lead position.

Position : Lead Patient Transporter

Shift : 2 : 30pm - 11 : 00pm with an every other weekend / holiday requirement

Experience :

• Must have thorough knowledge of the Patient Transportation function in an acute-care hospital and be able to perform all functions within Patient Transportation to include Transporting, Customer Service, Dispatching, and responding to Hospital codes.
• Must have experience scheduling assignments and implementing staff schedules.
• Ability to read and write English required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to learn function-specific software required.
• Knowledge of personal computer applications required.

Education : High School Diploma / GED required.
