Overview
About The Position : The County of Riverside's Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder's Office is seeking a qualified GIS Senior Analyst to join its Process Optimization Innovation Team (POINT) in Riverside. The GIS Senior Analyst will lead the GIS team in advancing technological developments in GIS and will recommend strategies for implementing or introducing new technologies. This position will oversee the development of GIS solutions and data products to support departmental and countywide operations, as well as provide assistance to the public. The incumbent will lead the development of GIS data applications, perform advanced spatial analysis, enhance data quality, and maintain various GIS databases. The most competitive candidate will demonstrate advanced expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), acting in a lead capacity to deliver high-level GIS applications and services. They will have hands-on experience with Esri technologies including ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Insights, AppStudio, Field Maps, and Drone2Map. The ideal candidate will also be highly proficient in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a proven ability to develop custom web and mobile GIS applications. Additional experience with Geoprocessing tools, AI / Deep Learning models, and mobile GIS development to support internal customers is strongly preferred. This position supports GIS operations within ACR Support Services IT and requires both technical leadership and the ability to translate business needs into effective geospatial solutions.
At this time, the position has the opportunity for a hybrid telework schedule based on business need; however, job expectations, at times, may require in-person interaction. Telework may change at any time and you will be expected to report to the office. This position requires a valid drivers license, as the employee must travel to various sites to conduct drone demonstrations, provide training, and offer on-site support.

Assessor - County Clerk - Recorder (ACR) has a staff of over 375 employees located in offices throughout Riverside County. The ACR is responsible for locating, identifying and valuing all taxable property in Riverside County. The Recorder provides public notice of private acts and maintains custody of permanent records for all documents filed and recorded in Riverside County. The County Clerk services include issuing marriage licenses, performing marriage ceremonies, and accepting filings of Fictitious Business Name Statements. The Records Management Archives Program (RMAP) unit provides professional records management services and the Archives Program provides public access to the history of Riverside County.
